Monster Book Review

"Monster" By: Walter D. Myers

When I first looked at the cover of the book, I knew it was going to be very interesting. In
the beginning of the story Steve Harmon was arrested for robbery and once was on trial for the
murder Mr. Nesbit. However, Steve was proven innocent. Then he decides to write about his
trial and make it a movie. He wrote down everything that someone says or even does. Mr.
Osvaldo Cruz along with Mr. Richard Evans comes to the trial to testify that Mr. James King
planned the robbery. He stated that Steve Harmon was the look out during the robber.
Meanwhile, Steve testifies in his defense other wise. My opinion about Steve innocent is, that he
was apart of the robbery even if he didn’t actually commit it. With him being the look out made
him even guiltier than the other men. To me the book was a lesson on to be careful of your
surroundings and even you can be blame for something that you didn’t even do! I will love to read more of his books.
read more books that are by Mr. Walter D. Myers.
